I loved this little bite after the first two books. Just because the characters in the previous two books found their love doesn't mean everything is perfect. Far from it - and I applaud Cooper for writing it this way.I'm still a sucker for Naomi and Phin. I love, love, love how flawed Naomi is, and how Phin can (over time) heal her soul-deep pain. With Jessie and Silas, too, you see that relationships, love, and flaws take time.
